POSITION OVERVIEW

Authentic good old-fashioned customer service. You still believe it exists and it is important to you that you show up to every retailer with the following: awareness of the products you are delivering, a great attitude, efficiency to get each retailer and brand taken care of, and thoughtful problem solving if issues may arise.

The transportation coordinator is responsible for safe and efficient delivery of product to retail stores, distribution centers and pick up of product from clients. This includes coordinating with Inventory teams, alternating route schedules, routes and daily interactions with retailers, producers, and consumers across the state representing Nature's Remedy. You will be front and center in the rapidly growing cannabis industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordination of transportation team, inventory team and scheduling drivers
  • Verification and accountability for transportation manifests, receipt of product and or payments
  • Scheduling and coordination of alternate routes, randomize delivery times and drivers schedules
  • Responsibility for maintenance of transportation vehicle, including inspections, licensing and registration
  • This person will coordinate vehicle and equipment service, maintenance, and inspections, including onboard camera and GPS systems.
  • Maintain primary communication with drivers and security team throughout transportation process and ensure required recorded monitoring during the transportation process.
  • Be the primary contact for any transportation related coordination activities.
  • Manage the driver team and drive as needed
  • Maintain, document, and update any standard operating procedures as needed for transportation process.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Coordinate changes to customer orders with Sales, Operations, and manage tickets in Supply Chain Management System.
  • Maintain flexible hours and attention to scheduling
  • Use and maintain tools including iPad, phone, and scale

 

REQUIRED

  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Knowledge of proper reconciliation procedures and proficient in mathematical skills
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory management, controls, and procedures
  • Solid customer relationship building and communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to and maintain delivery schedule and route
  • Ability to lift over 75 lbs with assistance of dolly or another person
  • Attention to detail, sense of responsibility, and ability to adhere to security protocols and procedures
  • Ability to work diverse work schedule
  • Ability to navigate heavily trafficked cities and roadways in a safe and timely manner
  • Prior military, police, safety and or security detail experience preferred
